Fighter Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and British Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton may fight on May 2nd, 2009 for the welterweight title. This fight has been said to be the fight of the decade. Better yet, the fight of the century!
This fight will decide the true pound for pound welterweight. Pacman is said to be the current best pound for pound after Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s retirement. After beating DeLaHoya he showed the world that he is in fact, a real champion.
So far Mayweather has been the only person to defeat Hatton so if Pacquiao ends up victorious in the bout, "Pretty Boy" Mayweather may want to enter the limelight once again and fight the Filipino.
Although neither fighter has mentioned anything about the fight recently, the fight has been said to produce £40 million.
